These terms govern your use of MyAssociate. By using the service you agree to them. We have written them plainly and honestly.
The service
MyAssociate is a grounded legal associate for South African family-law firms. It ingests your matter, retrieves and cites the record and the law, and marks anything it cannot support as unsupported. It is an assistive tool for qualified legal professionals, not a substitute for legal judgment or legal advice.
Pricing
The software is free to use. You pay only for the AI tokens the work consumes. There is no subscription and no seat licence. Specific token pricing is provided separately before you incur any usage charge.
Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for the legal work. You must verify the sources My Associate cites and exercise your own professional judgment. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and only with data you are entitled to process.
Honesty and accuracy
My Associate is built to be grounded and to say plainly when it lacks support for a claim. It is still software, and you must confirm the cited sources before relying on any output. We do not warrant that outputs are complete or fit for a particular legal purpose.
Data
Our handling of your data is described in the privacy policy, including data residency and its honest caveat, model-vendor disclosure, and the per-firm deletion path. Each firm's data is isolated from every other firm.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We may update these terms, and we will make the current version available on this page.
